O mundo parece cruel porque refletimos nossas próprias falhas nele.
The Love That Unites Us
All the love in the world fits in our hearts—for the children who come into the world and for the people who leave. Just as little ones need our protection, all of us, at some point in our lives, also need care and, above all, love. This feeling should accompany us daily, strengthening our bonds and our humanity.
The world seems cruel because we reflect our own flaws in it. Facing this truth can be painful, but ignoring it will never solve the problem. We need to look at this reality without fear, understand it, and then change it.
We spent part of our lives being welcomed and cared for by our parents. They were years of dedication: they gave birth to us, fed us, protected us, and loved us without asking for anything in return. But when they get old, what do we do for them? Some may be proud of having taken care of them, but we know that, in most cases, this does not happen as it should.
Now, we live the other side of the story. We raise our children and often notice that they avoid looking at us, as if they are afraid that we will ask them for something. And yet, we continue to offer the best of ourselves every day—raising awareness, rescuing forgotten values, trying to awaken a change in the way we live and relate to each other.
May we learn to care for each other, not out of obligation, but out of love. For this is the only way to transform lives and heal the world.
