Aos 72 anos, prestes a completar 73, faço academia cinco vezes por semana e pratico FitDance três vezes. Sempre que posso ou sou convidado, treino ainda mais. O que mais surpreende, no entanto, é minha capacidade de manter o foco absoluto, sem me perder por um instante no que estou fazendo. Isso só é possível porque desenvolvi um poderoso senso de propósito.

O foco é a chave para tudo que queremos realizar na vida. Passei por inúmeras dificuldades—fui traído no mundo empresarial, enganado em outras situações—mas nunca me deixei abater. Simplesmente porque tenho um objetivo claro e um alinhamento interno: alma, mente, corpo, respiração, vontade e intenção, sempre presentes, todos os dias.

Outro dia, alguém me perguntou: "Por que você não escreve um texto nos ensinando a fazer tudo isso?" Porque esse é o grande segredo do sucesso: a retribuição. De nada adianta ensinar algo de graça, pois é a gratidão que nos sustenta. Sem ela, não vamos muito longe.

Tudo o que faço tem um objetivo espiritual. O corpo é apenas um instrumento que executa o que minha mente e alma desejam. De nada adianta realizar inúmeras conquistas se tudo se dissolverá no instante da finitude da existência material. Por isso, seguimos em frente, com foco e retribuição.

At 72 years old, about to turn 73, I go to the gym five times a week and practice FitDance three times. Whenever I can or am invited, I train even more. What is most surprising, however, is my ability to maintain absolute focus, without losing sight of what I am doing for a moment. This is only possible because I have developed a powerful sense of purpose.

Focus is the key to everything we want to achieve in life. I have gone through countless difficulties—I have been betrayed in the business world, deceived in other situations—but I have never let myself get down. Simply because I have a clear objective and an internal alignment: soul, mind, body, breathing, will and intention, always present, every day.

The other day, someone asked me: "Why don't you write a text teaching us how to do all this?" Because this is the great secret of success: giving back. There is no point in teaching something for free, because gratitude is what sustains us. Without it, we will not get very far.

Everything I do has a spiritual purpose. The body is just an instrument that executes what my mind and soul desire. There is no point in achieving countless achievements if everything will dissolve in the moment of the finitude of material existence. Therefore, we move forward, with focus and retribution.
