The Architecture of ExistenceIn the act of fertilization, there is an invisible flash, a radiance that cannot be seen but can be felt. It is the light of the soul choosing its shelter, the instant when the eternal touches the ephemeral. There the first breath of identity is born, even before the body knows it is the body.
In the first muscular layer, everything is anchored. The vertebral junction is the axis of initial memory, where the gesture is still intention and not action. There rests the echo of the first desire, the memory of the womb, of warmth, of silence, the foundation of what will one day become movement.
In the second layer, the body learns to dance. The muscle vibrates, pulses, responds to the world. Secondary memory is made of attempts, falls, steps, discoveries. It is there that the being rehearses itself in time, and time is inscribed in the being.
In the third layer, the skin bears witness. The epithelium holds the now, what we touch and feel. Tertiary memory is the reflection of the moment, the mark of who we were and who we are. Every scar, every shiver, every embrace is a living history written about us.
