Introduction - A Silenced HeritageMy ancestral heritage came from an ancient kingdom, passed down from father to son through generations. However, after a war against an enemy kingdom, we lost everything—including our freedom. My father was enslaved, and his children were forced to serve the nobles of that new domain, deprived of any autonomy.
Over time, consumed by grief, my father withered away until he succumbed, leaving us at the mercy of those people. My mother, my siblings, and I lived in profound suffering. As the eldest son, paternal obligations fell upon me—something I never desired, nor accepted willingly.
Below me were only sisters, and my youngest brother was still a child. Faced with this, I made the decision to abandon that place and seek my own existence, far from men, among the forests and animals. Living among humans, in a world without rights, without laws, and without free will, was no longer an option. And so, I ventured into the forest.
I quickly learned how to feed myself and protect myself from other creatures. One day, I found a beast suffering with a thorn stuck in one of its paws. I understood its pain and removed the splinter that tormented it. From that moment on, it became my friend and guardian. Since then, life has become safer—and even more enjoyable.
