The Illusion of Life and Death

Death is an illusion. It occurs only because the body ceases to function, as the energy that sustains it is extinguished. There are different ways for the body to die, but all are linked to its time spent in the physical world—nothing beyond that.

We come into the world with a specific mission, but we often get lost, seduced by the pleasures of matter. We appropriate everything within our reach, believing that matter is the foundation of eternal life.

Life, however, is a collective hysteria: human beings believe, with conviction, that the world belongs to them and that nothing can shake this illusion. Only at the moment of departure do they realize the deception, but there is nothing left to do. And, curiously, almost all of us are like that.

This illusion is shared. We believe we possess what we apparently build, but, in truth, everything we accomplish in the world originates in the spiritual universe. The material world is merely a mirror reflecting a deeper reality, albeit veiled by the surface.
