Between Sleep and Eternity

Death and sleep walk side by side, like two silent masters of existence. Death is definitive, ending the body's cycle and opening doors to the eternal mystery. Sleep, in turn, is a brief rehearsal, a training for detachment and surrender. In it, we learn to loosen the reins of consciousness and trust in the invisible. Both complement each other, as stages of the same spiritual journey. We should not fear, for fear distances us from our essence and leads us astray.

When the body rests, the soul is freed in subtle journeys through the universe. It is in this state that we discover hidden secrets of life and creation. Sleep teaches us to recognize that we are more than flesh and bones. It opens portals to realities that cannot be explained, but are felt. Each dream is a lesson, each awakening is an intimate revelation. Thus, we grow in wisdom, even when we believe we are only resting.

Death, in turn, should not be seen as an enemy, but as a transition. She is the period at the end of a sentence, but not the end of the book. Sleep prepares us to understand this passage with serenity. Both invite us to accept the natural flow of existence. Fear is merely a shadow that distorts the brilliance of truth. And the truth is that we are eternal in essence, even though fragile in body.

Sleeping is rehearsing detachment, dying is fully realizing it. In sleep, we travel through invisible worlds, learning who we truly are. In death, we surrender our bodies to the earth, but we continue beyond, perpetually. Both stages reveal to us that there is no end, only continuity. The secret lies in living without fear, with courage and surrender to the mystery. For only in this way do we find the peace that guides us to infinity.
